I’ve been working on a little project called Flickr Enlarger. Think of it as “Flickr on Black”, except cleaner, and more refined. Hopefully I’ll have a public beta out in a few days.
Flickr Enlarger now supports options! You can choose your preferred image size and style. How sweet is that?
Whoo Hoo! Got myself an original NES. (w/Zapper too!) I have now arrived. Ha ha! Retro gaming here I come!
Only problem… You can’t use the Zapper on LCD screens. So I might have to get one a nice old CRT TV to connect it to.
Addendum now has a new look. Which I feel fits the whole micro-blogging setup much better.
My friend recently got a new super fast computer, with 8GB of RAM, which requires that he uses a 64-bit version of Vista. I assumed it should be a piece of cake to install, right? Wrong.
After after trying multiple time to get the installer to work successfully, and failing each time, we tried running memtest, flashing the BIOS, and even removing half of the RAM. All to no avail. We couldn’t believe the company he bought the new computer from didn’t check to make sure the computer worked before sending shipping it!
I finally decided to try installing Windows XP, just to see if we could get that to work. To my amazement, the installer froze on that as well. But that’s when I noticed, it froze when it was trying to install the hardware. So I thought, lets try un-plugging the cheap keyboard & mouse that came with the computer, and plug in the USB keyboard & mouse from the old computer, that we knew worked.
That’s when it all changed! XP installed perfectly, and then when we tried the Vista installer again, it worked like a charm! All because we had a faulty keyboard/mouse!
So if you are having issues installing your OS, try swapping out your keyboard & mouse! You just might solve your problem!
